This is a fun and yet complex piece written especially for this album on a 5 hour bus journey, the day before the session. The title (The Journey South) is reference to a trend in my life of always moving south, living in Spain for a time as a child and moving from the north east to London at 16, then further south again to Ramsgate a few years later...I wonder where is next?
